Your data, your choices
Privacy Choices
You control the personal data tied to your PokerRun.org account. This page explains what choices you have and exactly where to find them.
What you can do
- Download a copy of your data — profile, event registrations, and payment summaries (never card numbers).
- Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Update your name, email address, and profile details at any time.
- Control cookies through your browser settings.
On the website
- Log in at pokerrun.org/login.
- Open your account menu and choose Settings.
- Select Privacy & data in the settings sidebar (or go directly to pokerrun.org/settings/privacy).
- Choose “Request data export” to receive a downloadable JSON file, or “Request deletion review” to ask for account removal. You can add an optional message for our staff with a deletion request.
In the participant app
The PokerRun participant app offers the same choices. Open the app, go to Settings → Privacy & data, and request a data export or account deletion from there. Requests made in the app and on the website go to the same place and are handled identically.
What happens after you ask
Data export
We prepare a machine-readable JSON file containing your profile, event registrations, and payment summaries. When the export status shows completed on your Privacy & data page, you can download it directly.
Account deletion
Deletion requests are reviewed by our staff, typically within 30 days. If your account has payment history, laws governing financial record-keeping require us to retain certain transaction records — in that case we anonymize your profile (removing your name, email, and personal details) instead of erasing the financial rows. Everything else is deleted.
If you can’t log in
You can make any of these requests by email from the address associated with your account: [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.
